A surprisingly sweet but low GI (glycemic index) peaches and bananas smoothie constitutes a refreshing and energy-sustaining diabetic breakfast. This low-glycemic smoothie is tailor made for diabetics to start a busy day as it helps to trickle glucose into your blood stream, keep your energy levels balanced and prolong your physical endurance.

Ingredients :
2 cups (500ml) no-fat soy milk
2 medium bananas (400g), chopped coarsely
4 medium peaches (600g), chopped coarsely
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method:

  1. Blend or process ingredients, in batches, until smooth.
